Common questions
Why does my viewer show the page correctly but it prints sideways?
Most viewers let you turn a page on screen without saving it. That's a view setting, not a document change. Rotating here writes the angle into the file so it prints and shares correctly.
Can I rotate only the landscape pages?
Yes, by listing their page numbers. There's no automatic orientation detection — it too often gets landscape tables wrong.
Does rotating reduce quality?
No. Rotation is recorded as a property of the page. No pixels are touched.
What does 270 degrees mean here?
The same as turning a page a quarter turn to the left. It's listed as 90° left for clarity.
Can I rotate a password-protected file?
Not while it carries one. Encrypted content cannot be modified by any tool until the password is removed, which has to be done in your PDF reader.
