How it works

Reorder PDF pages in three steps

Any page you leave out of the sequence simply doesn't appear in the result.

Ranges are allowed

Write 5, 1-4, 6-20 to lift page five to the front without retyping everything after it.

Duplicate a page if you need to

Listing the same number twice puts that page in twice — useful for cover sheets and separators.

Common questions

What happens to pages I don't list?

They're left out. Reordering rebuilds the document from exactly the sequence you type, so omission is how you delete. If you only want to remove a few pages, the remove pages tool is quicker.

Do I have to type out all 40 pages?

No — use ranges. To move page 40 to the front of a 40-page file, type 40, 1-39.

Can I put the same page in twice?

Yes. List its number as many times as you need it.

Will this break links inside the document?

Internal links that point to a moved page may end up pointing at the wrong place, because they reference position rather than content. Check any table of contents after a large reshuffle.

Is there a visual drag-and-drop version?

Not yet. Typing the sequence is faster for long documents and works identically on a phone, which is why it came first.
