This page discloses how the site is funded, what commercial relationships exist, and which third-party services it depends on.
No advertising
There are no adverts anywhere on this site. No display network, no sponsored slots, no interstitials, no newsletter capture standing between you and a tool. No third party pays to appear here or to influence what any page says.
This is not a temporary position pending monetization. Advertising on a file-handling tool would mean third-party scripts running on pages where private documents are opened, which would be inconsistent with the privacy commitments made elsewhere on this site.
No affiliate links and no paid placement
Where another product or service is named on these pages, it is named because it is relevant. No link on this site earns a commission, and nothing has been included in exchange for payment, reciprocal linking or any other consideration.
That includes the comparisons. Where a page says another approach would serve you better, or that you should edit your original document instead of converting the PDF, it says so because it is true, not because of any arrangement.
Your documents are not the product
No document processed here is collected, stored, mined, sold, or used to train anything. For browser-side tools this is structural rather than a promise: the file never reaches a server, so there is nothing to collect.
There is no analytics platform recording what you do, and no data broker relationship of any kind. The privacy page sets out the small amount of ordinary server-log information that does exist.
What the site depends on
The site depends on three external providers. The PDF libraries and typefaces are delivered by public content delivery networks, and the pages themselves by a hosting provider.
Those providers see request-level information such as your IP address. None of them receives your documents. This is disclosed here as well as on the privacy and cookie pages because it is the one place where a third party is involved at all.
Software this site is built on
The PDF work is done by open-source libraries: pdf-lib and JSZip under the MIT license, and pdf.js under Apache 2.0. Typefaces are licensed under the SIL Open Font License. All permit commercial use, and none is modified here.
Everything else — the interface, the writing, the processing logic wrapped around those libraries — was produced for this site.
Tools that are not finished
Only tools that run entirely on your own device are published here. Operations requiring a server — conversion to Office formats, character recognition, encryption — are absent rather than listed as unavailable, so the toolkit is not padded with things that do not work.
Each says plainly what is missing and why. None of them will take your file and quietly do nothing with it.
If any of this changes
If advertising, affiliate arrangements, sponsorship or paid placement are ever introduced, this page will say so before they appear, and it will say which pages are affected.
This page is published now, while there is nothing to declare, so that any future change can be identified against the position recorded here.
